Lettuce is available in most supermarkets, where it looks fresh. However, when brought home and stored in the refrigerator, it gets spoiled within a few days. This makes many people desist from buying the vegetable. However, here is a method which will enable you to bring home lettuce and store it without losing freshness for up to one month.
The procedure is as follows:
Take a glass bottle and place the lettuce in it.
Pour sufficient water to fill the bottle.
Cover the opening of the bottle with tissue paper.
Close the bottle properly with a cap.
Store the bottle in a fridge.
The video says that lettuce leaves will remain fresh in the bottle for a month.
