Meanwhile, the comments posted by Mohit Sharma, a social media user, below this video too has garnered attention. He claims that he is a biochemist and a fitness enthusiast. Mohit says though he understands that Taapsee’s video isn’t a scientific one, there are lots of misinformation in it. He says he did some research before sharing his ideas about Taapsee’s diet. Mohit notes that there aren’t any toxins in the human body that need to be flushed out. Though it is important to drink water on an empty stomach in the morning, it is a misunderstanding to think that some foods can flush out toxins from body. Mohit points out that it is not healthier to avoid gluten from the diet unless one suffers from celiac disease. Similarly, one shouldn’t avoid lactose as well. However, one could avoid drinking milk if they consume paneer.

Mohit says that one should do a little research and not blindly follow unscientific methods or diets that are followed by someone else. One should eat only when they are hungry. Research has proven that eating small amounts of food every two hours would improve metabolism. Moreover, it hasn’t been scientifically or medically proven that your body would turn alkaline if it isn’t naturally acidic. The body, meanwhile, has the natural ability to maintain homeostasis.
