When the stars come down to their kitchens, and to their mothers

The world, or let's say the Americas, honour mothers and motherhood on the second Sunday of May. Since it's an interesting concept, we follow suit and celebrate our mothers and everything motherly on the day. Not that we think this is the only way to honour or respect them, but we just take it as a collective birthday, in a lighter vein! So, amidst one hundred chores that they do so well, the one thing that they should be remembered and thanked for, is for feeding generations of hungry stomachs. Cooking could be an art for some, but for most, it's the necessary love that needs to be shared everyday. And while the mothers are up for it more often than not, it's the rest of us who forget to keep track of how many times they've mesmerised us with their splendid creativity in the kitchen.
