Surprised? Yes, you heard it right. Actor Vikram is coming up with a tribute song to the volunteers who participated in the relief activities of Chennai floods.
Vikram is directing a video song titled ‘Spirit of Chennai’. A few days back, a promo video showcasing several visuals of flooded Chennai was unveiled and towards its end, it's mentioned that the official video would be out soon.
This soon-to-be-released song will reportedly see many top stars from South Indian industries.
According to reports, the shooting of the song began in Chennai on Sunday. Many actors, including Nithya Menen, Vijay Sethupathy and Bobby Simha, have participated in the shoot. Sources suggest that other stars like Nivin Pauly, Suriya, Prabhas, Hansika and Puneet Rajkumar too will join the team soon.
It seems Vikram was inspired to direct a video song after coming across many inspirational stories of people during the floods. Thus, he decided to come up with the idea of praising the spirit of Chennai.
