After quite a win-win situation for both A.R. Rahman and Alia Bhatt, who rendered a heart-warming lullaby in the former's composition for the film Highway in 2014, the Mozart of Madras is back with yet another lullaby, and has handed it over to Nithya Menen this time!
The talented actress, who has wooed audiences down south, be it Malayalam, Tamil or Telugu, with commendable performances on screen, is seen crooning this special number for her upcoming film 24 with actor Suriya. While the Tamil version of the song is being sung by Shakthishree Gopalan, the Telugu song that goes 'Laalijo' is being rendered by Nithya Menen.
Nithya looks every bit as excited as anyone singing for Rahman is bound to be, and she seems to be up for the task. This isn't her first in front of the mic, although she hasn't sung too many songs.
Sharing the making video of the song, Nithya wrote on Facebook: "Rahman sir did the recording of the song for me himself.. It was wonderful."
24 is a sci-fi bilingual film directed by Vikram Kumar.
