The much-awaited first single 'Noolamala' from the Achyuth Vinayak directorial 'Thrishanku' is out. The intriguing music and visuals have perfectly captured the essence of the film's theme, which reflects the chaos and confusion in life.
The song, streaming on Think Music India YouTube channel, is composed by Jay Unnithan and penned by Manu Manjith.
Playback singers Vanee Rajendra, Shivakamy Shyamaprasad, and Kaanjana Sriram complement the music, making it an instant favourite among music lovers.
The instrumentation is equally impressive, with Chaitanya Bhaidkar handling the electric guitar, saz, and banjo, while Rony George contributed additional guitar and Sonu Sangameswaran laid down the bass guitar foundation. Additionally, the Korava vocals were provided by Lekshmi, Rama Lekshmi, and Karthik, adding a special cultural touch to the song. The recording took place at Deepak SR Productions in Trivandrum by recording engineer Deepak SR. The song is mixed and mastered by Abin Paul.
'Thrishanku' marks the first venture of Matchbox Shots into Malayalam cinema, in collaboration with Lacuna Pictures and Clocktower Pictures & Co., led by Vishnu Shyamaprasad, and Gayatri M, respectively. Mentored by Sriram Raghavan, the production company has previously produced critically noted films like 'Andhadhun' and 'Monica, O My Darling.'
The film has generated a palpable buzz among film enthusiasts and aficionados alike with the audio launch, teaser and first look poster, leaving them elated. Suresh Krishna, Nandhu, Krishna Kumar, Balaji Mohan, Siva Hariharan, Zarin Shihab, and Fahim Safar are also part of the film.
The cinematography is jointly handled by Jayesh Mohan and Ajmal Sabu, while editing is done by Rakesh Cherumadam. Dhanush Nayanar has designed the sound. The film's distribution is handled by AP International Release through E4Entertainment, with the music released by Think Music. ‘Thrishanku’ is set to release on May 26, 2023.
