After composing award winning songs, A R Rahman is putting the cap of a writer. According to report, Rahman has written a script for a film.
Earlier this year, it was reported that Rahman had set up a production house named YM Movies.
Sources suggests that, the film has 99 songs and portrays the story of a struggling singer who aspires to become a successful composer.
The film will reportedly be released in Hindi as well as Tamil for which the casting has begun in Mumbai. The team is looking for a fresh face to play the lead character, preferably someone who is South Indian and has a basic understanding of music.
Currently, the 47-year-old is busy with the music for Ashutosh Gowariker's period drama, Mohenjo Daro.
