Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant recently got married in a lavish wedding, considered by many as the most expensive wedding in the world. However, now we hear that the wedding celebrations are not over yet and that the family plans to host the post-wedding celebrations in London. Though there is no official confirmation about the venue, reports suggest that the event will take place at Stoke Park in Buckinghamshire, which was once the venue for several iconic film shoots, including James Bond’s ‘Goldfinger’ and ‘Tomorrow Never Dies’, besides ‘Bridget Jones’ Diary and Layer Cake’.
As per the Stoke Park Country Club Film and Television Locations website, the last film shot in the area was Guy Ritchie’s film RocknRolla in 2008. Two scenes from the film were shot at the venue. The BBC recently in its report about the Ambani family stated that the richest man in Asia took over the historic country club in in 2021 for a whopping Rs 592 crore.
Though the post-wedding functions are expected to be a grand affair, reports suggest there won’t be any Bollywood celebrities in attendance as the family plans to only invite business partners to the event. Ever since news broke out about the post-wedding festivities, reports are circulating about a special invite to celebrity couple Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma.
Anant and Radhika's wedding festivities began in India on June 12 and concluded on June 14. The event brought together some of the most famous names in the business, sports and entertainment industry.
