Alphonse Puthren's Nivin Pauly-starrer Premam is getting rave reviews from both fans and critics as well. The latest to join the list is none other ace director Shankar.
Director Shankar recently watched the latest sensational Malayalam blockbuster Premam that has surpassed 245 days of theatrical run in Chennai.
The acclaimed filmmaker who has given fantastic romance films like Kadhalan, Kadal, Boys, and Enthiran has showered praises about the Alphonse Puthren's film that deals with the romance episodes in various stages of life of a guy played by Nivin Pauly.

Premam, written and directed by Alphonse Puthren emerged as one of the second highest ever grosser of Mollywood and the highest grossing movie of 2015.
Meanwhile, Premam is being remade in Telugu as Majnu. The movie stars Naga Chaitanya (in Nivin's role as George), Anupama Parameshwaran, Shruti Haasan (in Sai Pallavi's role as Malar) and Amyra Dastur (in Madonna Sebastian's role as Celine).
