The sixth edition meeting of the '80s Reunion Club was held at Nina Reddy's guest house near Olive Beach, Chennai on 29 August.
Based on the theme Moulin Rouge, the house was decorated in true French style in red, gold and neon. Red carpet, red roses, red velvet cakes, red macaroons and red friendship bands welcomed the 34 guests who were dressed according to the theme.
Suhasini, Lissy and Kushboo collaborated successfully in inviting guests, making arrangements and hosting. All stars were seen in red and beige attire.
New guests for this year were Jackie Shroff, Poonam Dhillon and Swapna from Mumbai, Jayasudha from Hyderabad, Rehman and Parvathy from Kerala, and Satyaraj and Bhagyaraj from Chennai.
The party started with karaoke renditions by Sumalatha, Jackie and Jayasudha to the '80s Western pop hits and moved on to Hindi, Tamil and Malayalam songs by Mohanlal and Suhasini.
A mesmerising performance by Poornima, Suhasini and Menaka to a song from 'Shaukeen' kicked off proceedings on the dance floor.
Another highlight was the Lungi Dance where Kushboo distributed lungis to all celebs, after which everyone danced wearing lungis.
Mohanlal, who does a magic show every year, was no different this year as well.
