Inspector Dawood Ibrahim aka IDI, the upcoming Malayalam movie with Jayasurya in the lead has got a release date.
The movie directed by Sajid Yahiya will hit the theatres on August 12th.
The action-packed entertainer will see Jayasurya playing the role of Inspector Dawood Ibrahim. Jayasurya had earlier donned the Khaki uniform in films like Positive and Mumbai Police.
IDI, marks the directorial debut of Sajid Yahiya and has its script written by Arouz Irfan and Sajid Yahiya. The film has actress Sshivada as the leading lady. Jayasurya and Sshivada had earlier teamed up for Su..Su..Sudhi Valmeekam. The film also features actors like Madhupal, Saiju Kurup in prominent roles.
The movie is produced by Dr. Ajaz Ibrahim and Arun, under the banner Magic Lantern, along with Eros International.
