Mollywood's favorite onscreen couple Dileep and Kavya Madhavan have been in the news for a long time, with their marriage rumors popping up often.
And in an exclusive interview with Vanitha, Dileep has now revealed that he is open to remarriage.
"My life has been an open book and whenever a new thing happens, it will be communicated to all", said Dileep in the interview.
According to Dileep, he has never given a thought about marrying Kavya. The actor also stated that his remarriage plans completely depend on his only daughter Meenakshi's decision.
''Usually, it's the parents who will decide one's marriage. In my case, I have to ask my daughter. I am like a kid before her,” Dileep said.
Talking about reasons leading to his separation from Manju Warrier, Dileep insisted that Kavya was not the reason and added that revealing the actual reasons might affect many others' lives.
Dileep further said that it was saddening to see Kavya's name being unnecessarily dragged on in his divorce.
When asked about marrying Kavya, Dileep chose to say, ''Time will tell everything''.
Responding to marriage questions, Kavya said, ''It was on January 16, 2016 that I heard about my wedding news first. Then each month around the 16th, I used to get updates. The last was on June 20th. I even came across reports that my father has organized a press conference to announce my wedding. I started to get phone calls with congratulatory messages. Seeing my parents giving answers to such rumors was really heartbreaking. Finally, after seeing all these, I had to respond to fake reports doing the rounds on social media.''
''If I come to any decision, I won't hide it'', Kavya added.
