Tamil actress Aditi has been hospitalized after consuming poison in an alleged suicide attempt. The actress reportedly attempted suicide alleging that the director of 'Nedunaalvalai' Selvakannan sexually harassed and tortured her.
Aditi claimed that the director proposed to her, which she refused. This enraged the director, who rained verbal and physical harassment on her, she said.
The actress further added that Selvakannan forcefully dashed her head against a wall.
Aditi, who hails from Kerala, is now undergoing treatment at a hospital and Nadigar Sangam general Secretary Vishal has visited her.
The actress has alleged that she has received no support from the Sangam as she is not a registered member of the association.
