“I am forced to do this video because I realised people are linking me with the sexual assault complaint against the two actors. Let me be clear that I am not the actor who filed the sexual assault complaint,” she said. She also revealed why she was not part of the recent episodes of the sitcom. “I have been receiving messages asking why I stayed away from the recent episodes of the sitcom. Let me clarify that I was on a trip to Shimla and only returned on December 20. I joined the sets soon after and shot for the remaining episodes till December 24. I urge you all to stop spreading these controversies,” she said.
Gouri was recently seen in the Hridhu Haroon, Suraj Venjaramoodu and Maala Parvathi-starrer 'Mura'. She plays the role of Kuttu Maman's (Sreekumar) wife in the sitcom.
