Akshay Kumar joins Mohanlal at Barroz trailer launch, admits he's a huge fan

Bollywood star Akshay Kumar who attended the trailer launch of actor-turned-director Mohanlal's movie 'Barroz' expressed his admiration for the veteran Malayalam superstar at the event, which took place in Mumbai. The 'Khiladi' actor was welcomed by Mohanlal with a warm bear hug to the event. The two later posed for the camera and shared a fun chat. Akshay looked dapper in a white shirt paired with khakee shaded pants and sunglasses, while Mohanlal looked every-inch handsome dressed in a rust hued blazer paired with a white shirt and dark blue pants.

Akshay said he is a huge Mohanlal fan and has watched many of his movies, including the ones directed by Priyadarshan who has collaborated with Akshay several times. Akshay recently announced he will also be seen in Priyadarshan's next film 'Bhooth Bangla'.
'Barroz ' is Mohanlal's directorial debut and will release worldwide in 3D and multiple formats on December 25. The children's fantasy is based on Jijo Punnoose novel Barroz: Guardian of D'Gama's Treasure. The film also stars Maya, Cesar Lorente Raton, Kallirroi Tziafeta, Tuhin Menon, and Guru Somasundaram in other significant roles. Production on the film Barroz began in March 2021 and the unit was shot in Kochi, Gao, Bangkok and Chennai, among other places.
