Prithviraj was seen with his wife Supriya while his brother Indrajith too made his way for the function.

When asked about the celebration, Mallika Sukumaran, veteran actress and Prithviraj's mother, stated that it was sheer blessing that came her son's way. “It's a moment of joy to see your son's work getting applauded. What more a mother needs! To direct a film and that too with Mohanlal is something that not everyone in the industry can hope for,” she said.

“Prithviraj's father always wanted to direct a film and now his son has made his dream come true. I always pray that nothing bad should happen to my kids. I am also glad the Prithvi-Mohanlal combination has also been well received by everyone,” she added. (Prithviraj's father late Sukumaran was a popular actor of the 1970s and 1980s.)

Indeed, Prithviraj had managed to win the hearts of the audiences with his directorial debut. And it remains to see how Empuraan performs at the box office.

Lucifer was produced by Antony Perumbavoor under the banner of Aashirvad Cinemas.

Apart from Lucifer, the event also witnessed the success celebration of Odiyan and Ittymaani Made in China, which were also released under the banner of Aashirvaad Cinemas.
