The film will be produced by a collective from social media, CPIM Cyber Poralikal, under the banner of Red Malabar Comrade Cell (RMCC).

“Many wrote poems as a tribute to Abhimanyu. We discussed our mission with parents of Abhimayu, after visiting them in Vattavada, held talks with the local bodies there and agreed that a major portion of the profit derived from the movie would go to his family. This may be the first time that a social media group is venturing out with a project like this,” claimed Vineesh.

The film's crew will have a huge responsibility to make it a perfect tribute to Abhimanyu's life story, he said.

“Vineeth Viswam has agreed to do the lead role. Audition for the movie will be held in Kozhikode on Saturday and the shooting is scheduled to begin on August 18. It is a low budget film. The actors will be new faces” he added.
