Little Pranav's rare photo: he loved action since then, says Balachandra Menon

The picture was taken at a guest house owned by Hindustan Latex in Poojappura, Thiiruvananthapuram

Pranav Mohanlal’s debut movie Aadhi is running to packed houses, garnering positive reviews from all corners. Wishes are pouring in for the star kid from all corners of film fraternity.

Actor-director Balachandra Menon posted a congratulatory message for Pranav on his Facebook page along with a picture. The photograph which has since gone viral on social media features a young Pranav sitting cheerfully on a bed alongside legendary actor Sivaji Ganesan while Menon watches the duo with a smile. Pranav’s mother Suchitra Mohanlal and sister Vismaya could also be seen in the picture.

Balachandra Menon wrote that the picture had a great significance at present. “I don’t know whether people know about the Tamil movie Thaaiku Oru Thaalaattu which I have directed with ‘Nadikar Thilakam’ Sivaji Ganesan in the lead.

I became close to Sivaji Ganesan during the filming of this movie which was a Tamil remake of Oru Painkilikatha. May be it was because of this close friendship that he invited me to the guest house owned by Hindustan Latex in Poojappura when he visited Thiruvanathapuram,” wrote the actor.

The Samaantharangal actor said that when he walked into the room that day, a young woman with her two children was also in there. “I later came to know that it was Mohanlal’s wife Suchitra and his kids Pranav and Vismaya. While Vismaya was busy playing with her mother, Pranav was jumping and running and flipping on the bed. I and Sivaji sir were enjoying his acts.”

Balachandra Menon said that it was amazing that the young boy has found a place in the hearts of the Malayali audience with his acts.

“Pranav Mohanlal’s debut movie Aadhi is running successfully in theaters. Congratulations and wishes to Pranav, Mohanlal and Jeethu Joseph,” the actor concluded his post.
