More memes, please: Kavya Madhavan is back on Facebook after two-day exile

In the days of social media, taking a break or going into exile has only one meaning – deactivating Facebook. Actress Kavya Madhavan too needed a break, more so because trolls targeting her husband and people’s actor Dileep were going the rounds on her Facebook timeline.

So a day after Dileep was arrested for his alleged involvement in a conspiracy to have a fellow-actress waylaid, abducted and sexually assaulted, Kavya did the needful – temporarily shut off her official Facebook page.

In no time at all, a social media outcry followed. The fuss was quite natural as hundreds of keyboard warriors were working overnight to create memes and trolls with the faces of Kavya and her husband, half of which were about the misfortune Dileep’s new wife brought to him. Yes, Kavya as the stroke of bad luck!

The actress's Facebook page was flooded with abusive messages and negative comments soon after the news regarding Dileep’s arrested was aired by different news channels.

But it seems the actress just couldn’t keep herself away from Facebook or perhaps, she doesn't want to disappoint the diligent troll makers. Her page has been reactivated. Yes, more memes, please.

Kavya has been staying away from media gaze ever since her husband came under the police scanner. Earlier, the police had conducted a raid at the Kakkanad office of Kavya’s online designer store, Lakshya, as main accused Pulsar Suni’s controversial letter from prison had a mention regarding ‘a Kakkanad shop.’ Suni had apparently reached the shop after the incident.

While the police are yet to ascertain whether the actress was part of the conspiracy, sources say Kavya and her mother, Shyamala, will be questioned soon in connection with the case.

The police are also keeping an eye on the movements of the mom-daughter duo as they do not want them to go out of the state.
