Dulquer Salmaan's CIA teaser: this comrade has got some major swag | Video

Actor Dulquer Salmaan’s upcoming film CIA (Comrade in America), directed by Amal Neerad, is one of the most-anticipated movies of the year.

Ever since the first posters and first song were released, the audience were super-curious to know what the movie has in store. Putting an end to their speculations, Dulquer Salmaan released the teaser on his Facebook page and wrote: ''Here it is guys !! We have given this film our everything ! Cannot wait for you all to watch the final version. For now here is a little teaser ☺☺ ! #ComradeInAmerica #CIA'' (sic.)

The 32-second-long video introduces Dulquer, a college student, as a staunch supporter of Left politics in campus. The teaser shows his character, a typical comrade, making a conversation with a cop played by Sujith Shankar. Dulquer asks Sujith whether the cop was with KSU in Maharaja's College and if he still remembers how SFI students beat him up.

While the CIA teaser reminds us of the recent release Oru Mexican Aparatha and Nivin Pauly's upcoming movie Sakhavu, we are sure that Dulquer's CIA will have more to offer. With a pumping BGM by Gopi Sunder playing in the backdrop, Dulquer's cool style is what caught our attention.

The project is helmed by Amal Neerad, who is also producing it under his banner Amal Neerad Productions. Also starring Karthika Muralidharan, the film was shot in the USA, Mexico and Kottayam.
