Veteran actor Mammootty's passion for photography knows no bounds. Most of the actor's clicks of celebrities in Mollywood have gone viral on social media. Now, the actor's rare click of the Indian bulbul is winning praise at the three-day photo exhibition which began at the Durbar Hall Art Gallery in Kochi on Thursday. The event titled 'Padiparakkunna Malayalam' is being held as part of the birth centenary celebrations of the late Indian ornithologist and writer Induchoodan.
Mammootty's click of a local bulbul is only one among the 61 pictures exhibited by 23 photographers at the event. The photo features a brown and red coloured bulbul perched upon some leaves against the background of a blue sky. The actor captioned the photo: A heart bubbling with joy and a restless tongue.
The photo, which has been kept at the entrance of the gallery will be auctioned on June 30 at 4pm. The picture will be sold to the highest bidder. According to actor-writer V K Sreeraman, who is one of the organisers of the event, the auction for the photograph starts at Rs 1 lakh. Sreeraman added that the amount collected from the bid will be used to promote various activities in Induchoodan's name across the state.
