This time, it is the chief priest of Thirumandhamkunnu Bhagavati Temple, Malappuram, who made the big-hearted contribution. Sreenath Namboodiri has donated his earrings to help victims of the disaster.
When CPM Angadippuram local committee members including K Dileep and KAC Ashraf reached his house for flood relief, Sreenath did not think twice about what to give.
Sreenath is a member of Angadippuram Panthala Kodath family. The Thirumandhamkunnu Bhagavati Temple is a famous centre of pilgrimage in north Kerala.
