More than a week since Bengaluru-based Malayali journalist N Shruthi's suicide, the accused, her husband Anish Koyad remains at large.
Shruthi had been found hanging at her flat in Nallurhalli Mayfair near White Field on March 24.
The police had found a suicide note that said her death was due to Anish's torture. At least two other notes allegedly written by Shruthi have surfaced.
The police claim that the Taliparamba-native, who was employed as a software engineer, is in hiding.
Meanwhile, an action council was formed in Shruthi's hometown in Kasaragod seeking justice for her.
Former minister and MLA of Kanhangad, E Chandrasekharan is part of the action council that comprises social activists and locals.
The MLA said that the action council will meet Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan asking him to raise their demand with the Karnataka government.
