The award-winning video showcased the institution's remarkable achievements and developments over the past five years.

Kochi: Rajagiri College of Social Sciences (Autonomous), Kalamassery, secured the prestigious Best Video Award at the Shaping Kerala's Future: International Conclave on Next Gen Higher Education, organized by the Government of Kerala's Higher Education Department on January 14 and 15.

The award-winning video showcased the institution's remarkable achievements and developments over the past five years, emphasizing its dedication to academic excellence, innovation, and societal impact. The submission stood out among entries from higher education institutions across Kerala, reflecting Rajagiri’s trailblazing initiatives in the field.

The award was jointly presented by Dr R Bindu, Minister for Higher Education and Social Justice, and P Rajeev, Minister for Law, Industries, and Coir.

Four individual entries and one group entry have been selected for the awards. The winners include V Niranjan (Yuvakshetra Institute of Management Studies), P.H. Nishamol (Government Polytechnic College, West Hill, Kozhikode), S Muhammad Shasin (APJ Abdul Kalam School of Environmental Design), K Madhav (Rajagiri School of Social Sciences) and the Aluva UC College team, comprising S Abhijith, Ajmal Mustafa, V Midhun Prasad, Nimal Babu, and Tharun George Philip.

The winners were selected by a jury that included P R Jijoy, Director of the K R Narayanan National Institute of Visual Science and Arts, and K G Renjith Kumar, Associate Professor in the Editing Department. The selected videos will also be screened as part of the conclave.
