Key exam dates

Extended application correction window
For candidates needing to correct any details in their application forms, the correction window deadline has been extended to November 20, 2024. Corrections can be made by logging in to the official GATE portal.

Mode of examination
The GATE 2025 exam will be conducted in English and will follow the Computer Based Test (CBT) format. It will be held at select centers across various cities.

Each test paper will have a duration of 3 hours.

GATE 2025 will assess candidates across 30 subjects (papers).
Question paper pattern
The exam will feature a mix of question types, including Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), Multiple-Select Questions (MSQs), and Numerical Answer Type (NAT) questions.
