Kochi: A Kochi-based startup has launched an AI-based app that provides free interview training to job seekers. A product from Edyounet, the app named Vaiva offers training through mock interviews for more than 120 posts in over 40 sectors, such as education, technology, healthcare, retail, manufacturing and tourism.

The app functions like an actual interviewer and asks candidates questions. It will hear the answers and make necessary corrections. Edyounet CEO Ram Mohan Nair said that candidates will be prepared to face any interviews if they get continuous training with the app. The service will be available in English and Malayalam.

Edyounet was incorporated in July 2012 to bring quality education to students living in small towns and villages. With its technological platform, TeleClassroom, the startup gives students from underprivileged areas access to quality teachers from faraway cities and places. The startup is trying to popularise its model through the franchise model.
