Thiruvananthapuram: The Kerala government has made a crucial announcement regarding admissions to Plus One (class 11) this year. Candidates who have already obtained admission will be given an opportunity for transfer allotment, allowing them to shift to higher options depending on vacancies, before the second supplementary allotment is conducted.

Currently, all candidates, including those who were allotted their lower options, have taken permanent admission. However, with 138 additional temporary batches being allotted in Malappuram and Kasaragod districts, these students will be given first preference for admission to the vacant seats. The second allotment in the supplementary round will take place later. The dates of the second supplementary allotment will be announced only after the government issues the order regarding the new batches.
