This serves as a crucial advisory for candidates applying for various examinations conducted by the Kerala Public Service Commission (PSC). In the recent Lower Primary (LP) – Upper Primary (UP) assistant exam, approximately 400 applicants faced the unfortunate circumstance of not receiving their hall tickets. This situation barred them from participating in the examination, despite their diligent preparation.
Numerous aspiring individuals, vying for government positions, have currently submitted applications for tests such as LP-UP teacher, sub-inspector, panchayat secretary, office assistant, civil police officer, and women civil police officer.
In the previous instance, the 400 applicants who missed out on receiving hall tickets for the LP-UP assistant exam filed a complaint and even approached the court. Regrettably, these efforts proved futile as the candidates were unable to furnish evidence regarding their applications.
At that time, the PSC attributed the issue to technical problems or errors during the website update. Unfortunately, a similar situation persists at the PSC, where complications could potentially arise again, considering the vast number of candidates applying for numerous positions.
As a precautionary measure, candidates are strongly advised to keep a printed copy or save a screenshot of their applications as proof for each test. This can be achieved through the following steps:
- Visit your profile on the PSC website and select the ‘My application’ option.
- A list of all the posts applied for in 2023 and 2024 will be displayed as separate files.
- Click on the ‘+’ (plus) sign next to each file, revealing the name of the post and another plus sign on the left.
- Click on this plus sign to receive a PDF of your application.
- Open the PDF file and save its screenshot or take a print, ensuring secure storage of the document.
