Kozhikode: Applications are invited for admission to the two-year full-time MBA programme 2024-26, conducted by the Department of Management Studies (DMS), NIT Calicut.

Department of Management Studies (DMS) of the National Institute of Technology, Calicut, offers a two-year full-time MBA programme with dual specializations. The students can opt for any two majors among the five specializations offered in the second year of the MBA. The options are: (i) Finance Management, (ii) Human Resource Management, (iii) Operations Management, (iv) Marketing Management and (v) Business Analytics and Systems.

Prospective candidates should have acquired a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized University or Institution with an aggregate minimum of 60% marks (or CGPA 6.0/10) for GEN/GEN-EWS/OBC-NCL and 55% marks (or CGPA 5.5/10) for SC/ST/PwD. They should have a valid Common Admission Test (CAT) score conducted by IIMs in 2023. The selection will be based on the CAT score and the personal interview conducted by DMS. Candidates currently in the final year of their Graduation degree programme are also eligible to apply for the MBA programme. Such candidates, if selected, will be admitted provisionally, on the condition that they complete all requirements for the qualifying degree with minimum marks stipulated above, before the commencement of the programme and produce a provisional degree certificate within two months of joining the programme.

A total of five seats are reserved for candidates sponsored by their employers to pursue an MBA at NIT Calicut. Such candidates must have a minimum work experience of two years in the sponsoring organization, after graduation in any of the disciplines prescribed for regular candidates. Applicants with a valid score in national-level entrance tests such as CAT/CMAT or equivalent would be preferred.

Application fee: Rs. 1,000/- for OPEN/EWS/OBC/PwD candidates and Rs.500/- for SC/ST candidates. The last date for submission of completed applications is 31st March 2024.
