Virology PhD at Thiruvananthapuram; apply by November 20

Interested candidates can apply online for the PhD courses commencing January 1, 2024, at the Institute of Advanced Virology, Thonnakkal, until 5 pm on November 20. The application fee is Rs 500.

The research is to be undertaken on subjects like virus applications, viral vaccines, viral diagnostics, anti-viral drug research, virus epidemiology, vector dynamics, and public health, in affiliation with the Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) and the Regional Centre for Biotechnology (RCB) at Faridabad.

Those possessing either a Life Sciences MSc, MBBS, or MVSC with 60% marks can apply. Scheduled, OBC, and differently abled candidates need to have only 55%. Candidates should possess CSIR-UGC, DBT, ICMR, or similar government JRF. Those who get preliminary selection will have to face the interview on December 6, 7, and 8.
