Guruvayur: The multimedia department of the Little Flower College in Mammiyur organised a photography workshop centered around the theme - women's perspectives - as part of World Photography Day on Tuesday. The chief guest of the event was renowned wildlife photographer Seema Suresh.
A photo exhibition by students pursuing multimedia course was conducted at the Assissi block of the college as part of the event. An interactive session with the resource person and a spot photography contest were also held. Over 50 students took part in the workshop organised at the seminar hall in the campus.
“The workshop was a great chance to sharpen our photography skills. Other programmes organised as part of the event were also helpful,” said Anjali M P, a final year MA multimedia student.
Anuja, second year student attending the bachelor's degree course in multimedia, said: “The interactive session was an interesting one. This was a perfect opportunity to understand more about photography.”
Seema Suresh distributed the prizes for winners of the spot photography contest.
Rev Sr Dr Valsa M A, principal of the college, Rev Sr Jinsa K Joy, head of the department of multimedia and a student representative spoke on this occasion.
