Interestingly, they didn’t write the exam in Braille; instead, they used the respective scripts for writing English, Hindi and Malayalam.

In the past, Jewel had written all the exams with the help of a scribe. However, he was determined to write the SSLC exam on his own and began practising on a laptop. It was only on the day before the exams began that he got the approval from the government. He is the son of Thiruvambady Parekudiyil Manoj and Ambili.
