Thiruvananthapuram: The Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) examination results, 2023, are out. The overall pass percentage is 99.70%. Kerala General Education Minister V Sivankutty announced the results on Friday afternoon. Students can apply for re-evaluation of the results till May 24.
A total of 4,17, 864 students have qualified for higher studies and 68,604 students have scored A Plus in all subjects. Malappuram district recorded the highest number of students who secured full A plus in the exam.
Among districts, Kannur topped in pass percentage with 99.94 % while Wayanad recorded lowest pass percentage of 98. 41 %.Pala and Muvattupuzha educational districts recorded 100% victory in the exams.

The exam results of the Technical High School Leaving Certificate (THSLC), THSLC (Hearing Impaired) and Art High School Leaving Certificate (AHSLC) were also published alongside the SSLC results.
SAY exam from June 7
Save a Year (SAY) exam will be conducted for the failed students from June 7 to 14. A student can appear for a maximum of three subjects in SAY exam. The results of this exam will be published by the end of June.
The SSLC certificate of the students who qualified for higher studies will be available on DigiLocker from the first week of June.
Plus One classes to commence from July 5
After announcing the results, minister Sivankutty expressed happiness over the impressive pass percentage and appreciated the students. He also pointed out the good performance of government schools in the exams.Plus one classes will commence from July 5, he added.
As many as 4,19,362 regular students and 192 private students wrote the exams. The number of boys and girls who wrote the examinations are 2,13,801 and 2,00,561, respectively.
The exams were conducted from March 9-29 at 2,960 centres across the state. The evaluation of answer sheets was held in 70 camps across Kerala by 18,000 teachers from April 3-24.
The Kerala High Court had directed the Education Department Secretary to consider the petition submitted to the Education Minister seeking to publish the marks scored by students alongside the results of the Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) Examination.
While directing to take a decision on the petition at the earliest, the court also clarified that its order would not be a hindrance in announcing the results.
