JEE-Main results: Ashik Stenny secures 100 percentile, topper in Kerala

New Delhi: Kottayam native Ashik Stenny scored 100 percentile to rank first in the Joint Entrance Examination-Main (JEE-Main) among candidates in Kerala. He had also stood first in the first session of JEE-Main 2023 which was held earlier this year.
JEE is the national entrance examination for admission to top engineering courses in India. The National Testing Agency announced the results of the JEE-Main 2023 on Saturday. Forty-three candidates have secured 100 percentile in the JEE Mains all over the country. Karnataka native Ridhi Kamalesh Kumar Maheshwari is the only girl to achieve the 100 percentile. Last year, 24 candidates had scored 100 percentile.

He studied at the Alphonsa Residential School at Bharananganam till Class 10 and secured 93 per cent in the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education exam. He is also a winner of Mathematics and Chemistry Olympiads. Earlier Ashik had also cleared the exam of the Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana, which is a national-level scholarship scheme, and the National Talent Search Exam.
General category cut-off
The candidates who have secured the cut-off of 90.7788 percentile or above in JEE-Main can apply for the JEE-Advanced this time for admission to IITs.
Registration for JEE-Advanced would begin on Sunday (April 30) morning at 10 am. Applications can be submitted until 5 pm on May 7. JEE-Advanced will be held on June 4.
