The school examinations of various central and state boards of the country will be integrated. This will be the first change incorporated by PARAKH (Performance Assessment, Review, and analytics of Knowledge for Holistic development) which is the Central Education Ministry’s newly formed quality control agency.
Recently PARAKH’s Management responsibility was handed over to the National Testing agency called Educational Testing Service (ETS).
ETS conducts international exams like TOEFL and GRE. ETS CEO Amit Sevak said that a common method should be introduced in the continuous evaluation methods (summative assessment) in all 62 boards of the country.
The National Achievement Survey which is a yearly National survey to measure the quality of school education will also be part of PARAKH.
