‘Magic Box’ to make learning interesting in the primary classes

New Delhi: The National Council for Educational Research and Training has introduced unique learning techniques that include games and other interesting activities to make the learning process easier in primary classes.

'Jaduyi Pitara’ (Magic Box) which was prepared as part of the National Curriculum Framework for the foundation classes was launched by central minister Dharmendra Pradhan and Chairman of the national commission for framework Dr. K Kasturirangan. The latest learning methods would be available in thirteen languages including Malayalam.

The Magic Box includes playbooks, toys, puzzles, posters, flashcards, story books and worksheets. These have been prepared to make the kids easily understand the local culture, social background and language.

Minister Dharmendra Pradhan said that the Magic Box could bring revolutionary changes in the learning process from classes 3 to 8. The latest learning technique has been designed to aid the kindergarten sections and classes 1 and 2.
