Kottayam: CMS College, here, organised its second annual convocation ceremony at the college campus on October 28 and 29, after an interval of two years for three consecutive batches (2017-20, 2018-21 and 2019-22). 

The chief guest of the convocation was Dr Soma Bandyopadhyay, Vice Chancellor of West Bengal University and Diamond Harbour Women's University. The best outgoing student of PG and UG were conferred with the Thomas award worth Rs 1 lakh each.

The Best Outgoing PG student title was awarded to Parvathi Santhoshkumar and the Best Outgoing UG Student award was presented to Romal Jose. Special appreciation awards were also distributed to honour outstanding research and innovative strategy implementation. 

The presidential address was by the Manager, Dr Malayil Sabu Koshy Cherian, Bishop of Madhya Kerala Diocese. College Principal Dr Varghese C Joshua briefed about the legacy of the college and urged the students to uphold it as the alumni of the college.

The College souvenir shop, Neve Square, ran a stall for the graduands to take a piece of memorabilia like the paintings of the campus, heritage publications, customised t-shirts, coffee mugs and fridge magnets with attractive offers as part of the convocation.
