The Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) is a premier institute that helps train professionals in managing the country’s foreign trade. The institute, headquartered in New Delhi (www.iift.ac.in / https://iift.nta.nic.in), has a campus in Kolkata too.

Those who are interested in joining for the two-year MBA (International Business 2023 – 25) programme at these campuses should apply on the website of the National Testing Agency https://iift.nta.nic.in before 14 November.

The application fee is Rs 2,500. Meanwhile, candidates of scheduled categories, persons with disabilities and transgender persons need to pay Rs 1,250. There will be additional service charges. The application fees for non-resident Indians is Rs 15,000.

Non-resident Indians can apply from January 15, 2023 to March 15. Their selection would be based on the GMAT score and the performance in the interview conducted by IIFT.

The computer based entrance test would be held on December 18 in 68 centres around the country including Thiruvananthapuram, Ernakulam and Kozhikode. In the two-hour-long exam, there will be multiple choice questions from Quantitative Analysis, Reading Comprehension and Verbal Ability, Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning and General Knowledge. The selection would be based on the entrance score, group discussion, test to determine the writing skills and performance of the candidate in the interview. Except the entrance test, all other rounds will be held in just eight centres including Chennai and Bengaluru.

Those who have bachelor’s degree in any subject with 50% marks and final year students whose results would be out by October 7 can apply. The candidates of scheduled categories and persons with disabilities need 45% marks.

There is no age restriction for application. Reservation benefits are available as per the central government’s guidelines. Meanwhile, non-resident Indians require at least 50% marks for the qualifying degree. The institute boasts of an excellent placement history. Last year’s average annual pay package was Rs 25 lakh.
