Kottayam: The Mahatma Gandhi University has landed in a soup after two examinations of the Master of Social Work (MSW) programme were scheduled on the same day.
As per the time table the last exam of third semester and the first exam of fourth semester MSW course were to be held on 24 August.
The university has decided to postpone one of the exams after the scheduling was widely panned by students and teachers.
Examination Controller CM Sreejith said that a meeting would be convened in the presence of the Vice Chancellor to postpone one of the exams.
The exams would be rescheduled after considering the request of teachers and students to postpone the fourth semester exams as most students haven’t completed fieldwork yet, he added.

How the varsity bungled
