In the wake of the ongoing Covid curbs, the Plus One classes are all set to go online in Kerala on the lines of virtual sessions similar to students enrolled up to class 10.
The classes for the new batch of Plus One students in Kerala will begin online from November 2. The state has decided to start classes for Plus One also virtually considering the still-raging COVID-19 pandemic.
Schools in the state had switched to the virtual system of education for the current academic year, 2020-21, amidst the Covid-induced lockdown.
The special sessions, termed First Bell, have been made available for class 1 to 12 via the government-run KITE Victers education channel and internet.
The classes will be streamed on various platforms. KITE CEO K Anwar Sadat said that the virtual classes have also been brought to a single portal firstbell.kite.kerala.gov.in, where students can access their classes.
The Plus one classes will be held from 9:30 am to 10:30 am in two schedules.
Due to time constraints, some subjects of the Higher Secondary and the language subjects of the Lower Primary (class 1-4) and Upper Primary (5-7) schools will be shifted for streaming on holidays.
