Lulu's MA Yusuff Ali is the richest Malayali in Forbes' list

Dubai: Lulu chairman and managing director M.A. Yusuff Ali is first among Malayalis in the list of India's 100 richest people, published by Forbes magazine on Thursday.

Yusuff Ali is ranked 25th in the list with a net worth of $4 billion. Ravi Pillai, who is ranked 38 in the list with a net worth of $3.2 billion, is the second among Keralites in the list. The youngest Malayali in the list is Shamsheer Vayalil, who is also son-in-law of M.A. Yusuff Ali. Shamsheer is ranked 98 in the list with a net value of $1.27 billion.

Most of the richest Malayalis in the list have been businessmen based in UAE.
