OnePlus launches '3T' smart phone with improvised features

OnePlus has launched an upgraded version of its flagship model OnePlus 3 in India with a range of innovative features.

OnePlus has launched an upgraded version of its flagship model OnePlus 3 in India with a range of innovative features. The model named OnePlus 3T has a 6 GB RAM that supports 128 GB storage. Aiming to strengthen their position in the mid-segment of global electronic gadget market, OnePlus introduced 3T with a striking tagline 'Never Settle.'

With a 16 megapixel rear camera and 8 megapixel selfie front cam, OnePlus 3T has additional imaging features like optical image stabilization and f/2.0 aperture supporting PDAF (a kind of phase detection auto focus) that enables capturing RAW images.

Powered by Qualcom Snapdragon 821 quad-core processor with a clock-speed of 2.45 GHz, OnePlus 3T has a range of upgraded connectivity options including Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.2, USB OTG, NFC and GPS. It runs on Android-based OxygenOS, which is developed by the Chinese handset makers. The model does not have the feature of FM Radio, the lack of which is vividly noticed. 3T supports 4G on Indian bands along with VoLTE.

The new model 3T comes in two different storage variants - 64 GB and 128 GB. The 64-GB variant is priced at Rs29,999 while the latter can be bought for Rs34,999. 3T is powered by a 3400mAh non-removable battery that holds the power for over one day on moderate use. It supports 4G on Indian bands along with VoLTE.
