New Delhi: Stylish, compact and loaded with new features, the second generation Moto 360 collection has been launched for smartwatch lovers in India.
Lenovo-owned Motorola on Tuesday introduced five new variants of its android wear Moto 360 (2nd Gen) collection - three metal variants and two leather ones - for the Indian consumer.
“We are introducing two variants exclusively for women for the first time - a distinctive rose gold with blush leather and natural metal. The men's variants will be available in cognac, black leather and black metal,” the company said.
Powered by android wear, the new Moto 360 gives users complete control right from the wrist so you can stay in the moment, without constantly grabbing your phone from your pocket or purse.
With the new smartwatch, users can get notifications and important information at a glance and respond to messages with voice.
Compatible with both android and iOS mobile platforms, “Moto 360 is Wi-Fi enabled, keeps you connected even if your phone is out of Bluetooth range”, the statement read.
The exclusive “Live Dials” feature makes it easier for the users to dive in with shortcuts right on the watch face to the apps they use the most.
The case design now features lugs specifically tailored for men and women and polished bezels in new styles.
Moto 360 also features “Moto Body”, a holistic experience that helps you lead a healthier lifestyle.
The new watch has incredibly accurate sensors to track steps that you take while walking or calories you burn during the exercise and even gauges your heart rate.
Moto 360 is loaded with an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, a gyroscope, apart from a vibration and haptics engine. It also has an optical heart rate monitor (PPG).
It comes with Qualcomm processor with four GB internal storage and 512 MB RAM. The Moto 360 comes with Corning Gorilla Glass that protects the screen from scratches.
Starting at Rs.19,999, the Moto 360 smartwatch can be purchased on Flipkart and Myntra e-commerce websites beginning Tuesday.
