Samsung launched its all-new Samsung Galaxy A8+ (2018) to put up a stiff challenge in the Rs 30,000 smartphone segment, which is currently ruled by OnePlus 5T and HonorView 10.

Priced Rs 32,990, the new smartphone comes with a handful of top class features.

Samsung Galaxy A8+ (2018) features a 6.00-inch touchscreen with a 1080x2220 pixel resolution and 410 PPI (pixel per inch) density. Its infinity display of 18.5:9 ratio is being touted by the company as the biggest display for Galaxy A phones till date.

A8+ is powered by a 1.6GHz octa-core processor coupled with 4GB RAM. It comes with an internal storage of 32GB, which can be further expanded up to 256 GB (microSD card). A higher variant of 6GB RAM /64GB is also available.

The A8+ sports a 16 MP primary camera on the rear and a dual camera setup at the front. The dual camera setup comes with 16 MP wide-angle lens and features like ‘Live Focus’, which helps users adjust the background blur levels. The front camera features camera effects like Beauty Effect, Food Mode, and Filters.

To meet the demands of its big screen size, the phone is loaded with a 3500mAh battery.

Measuring 159.90 x 75.70 x 8.30 mm, the phone weighs 191.00 g. As far as connectivity is concerned, the options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and NFC.

Sensors on the board include Accelerometer, Gyroscope, Proximity sensor, Compass Magnetometer, and Barometer.
