The phone is priced at Rs 20,990 and will be available in white, black, gold and pink variants. Sony Xperia XA1 was first announced at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.
The Sony Xperia XA1 camera is also powered with features like Exmor RS sensor, phase detection, autofocus, LED flash and F2.0 lens for low light photography. Its hybrid autofocus and quick launch & capture features would allow users to shoot moments at higher speeds without blur.
The phone has another 8 MP camera at the front for taking selfies. Its 23mm wide angle lens lets capture group selfies. Both rear and front cameras support capturing 1080p videos. Company, known for its wide range of cameras, claims the camera to load in less than a second to achieve super-fast pictures.
Sony Xperia XA1 comes with a 5.0 inch screen with 720 pixel resolution. The screen gets Corning Gorilla glass protection. The phone is powered by MediaTek Helio P20 64-bit octa-core processor (Quad core 2.3GHz + Quad core 1.6GHz) clubbed with 3GB of RAM. The phone will be available in single/dual SIM variants.
Xperia XA1 supports 32 GB of internal storage which can further be expanded up to 256 GB via microSD card (dedicated slot). XA1 runs on Android Nougat and supports 4G LTE. Other connectivity features include A-GNSS (GPS+GLONASS), WiFi Miracast, Bluetooth 4.2 wireless technology, Google Cast, NFC among others. It also supports USB Type-C.
Sony Xperia XA1 measures 145x67x8 mm (height x width x thickness) and weighs 143 grams. It is powered by a 2300mAh battery. The company gives Qnovo adaptive charging, stamina mode and quick charging features to ensure better battery life and quicker charging.
