Launched in November 2016, Vivo V5 comes with 13.97 cm (5.5 inch) touchscreen IPS display with a resolution of 1280 by 720 pixel. The phone is powered by Octa-Core 64 bit processor coupled with 4GB of RAM and runs on Funtouch OS 2.6 (based on Android 6.0). V5 Price starts in India at Rs 15,900 (TataCLiQ).

Vivo V5 is a dual SIM smartphone and supports one micro SIM and a nano SIM or microSD card. Its 32 GB of internal storage can be expanded up to 128 GB via microSD card at the cost of one SIM, as there is no separate slot for SD card. The phone is available in Crown Gold and Space Grey colours. The phone measures 153.8 x 75.5 x 7.55 mm (height x width x thickness) and weighs 154g.

Vivo V5 comes with 13 MP primary camera at the rear and 20 MP shooter at the front for taking ‘perfect selfies.' Face Beauty, Panorama, HDR, Night, PPT, Pro, Fast, Slow, Watermark, Camera Filter, Voice Capture, Touch Capture, and Palm Capture are some of the major modes seen in the primary camera. Rear camera has f2.2 aperture.

20 MP front camera, the key feature of Vivo V5, uses Sony IMX376 image sensor (1/2.78 sensor) and 5P lens system. The selfie camera has f2.0 aperture and is loaded with modes like Face Beauty, Voice Capture, Touch Capture, Palm Capture, Gender Detection, and Mirrored Selfie among others.

Connectivity features include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, USB 2.0, GPS, OTG, FM, Glonass, VivoCloud, WPS and GPS, among others. Sensors include accelerometer, ambient light, proximity sensor and E-compass. The phone is powered by 3000 mAh battery.

Facebook, WhatsApp, WeChat and Google Services like Maps, News & Weather, Play Games, Gmail, Chrome, Google Search, YouTube, Play Music, Play Movies & TV, Photos, Play Store, etc are also pre-installed.
