New Delhi: General Motors India has joined hands with Amazon to sell Chevrolet Trailblazer in India.
According to a Chevrolet release, the US carmaker will allow its Indian customers to book their Trailblazer on Amazon from October 21, 2015.
Commenting on the association, president and managing director of General Motors India Arvind Saxena said: “This is a first of its kind promotion for premium vehicles in the booming Indian e-commerce space and will enable us to create an entirely new and unique experience for Chevrolet Trailblazer customers.”
"We found that many of our customers already refer to online platforms before they buy a vehicle, especially in the premium segment, and this new approach makes buying a Chevrolet car an even more consumer friendly process,” Saxena added.
Customers can book their Chevrolet Trailblazer at a nominal booking amount on Amazon with an option of 100 per cent booking amount refund in case they change their mind. The Chevrolet Trailblazer’s online bookings received on Amazon.in will be fulfilled by the nearest dealership, according to the statement issued by Chevrolet India.
